I have enjoyed working in the role of Director and Educational leader at our preschool for over twenty years and was lucky enough to grow up in our beautiful mountain’s community. I have a degree in early childhood and believe in continuous learning journeys. I am passionate about early childhood education and advocate strongly for children’s rights. My passions include travel, exploring great eating places, gardening and sharing quality experiences with my family.

Cert III Educator
I began working at Katoomba Leura Preschool 18 years ago and I have loved the community, the friendships, the families and my role ever since. It is quite simply the best job in the world. I knew of the preschool prior to beginning working here as both my daughter and son had attended and had both enjoyed a wonderful preschool experience, so when I became part of the team I was thrilled. Each year brings new families and meeting and coming to know each child has been a joy. Although it is sad to goodbye to the children when they leave for school, there is a sense of achievement and pride in watching each of them grow and flourish and that’s why I love my job so much.
